Chicago Med Season 11 will be back with Episode 19 titled ‘Exit Strategies‘ next Wednesday.
The episode’s synopsis and preview video tease that Kip (Logan Miller), Dr. Caitlin Lenox’s brother, will make a guest appearance. In Episode 18, we learnt that Lenox was hiding her incurable medical condition from her colleagues. With her brother Kip returning to Gaffney, will Lenox’s secret be safe, or will she reveal the truth?
Apart from that, Lenox and Ripley’s relationship is also crumbling down due to this complex situation. In the upcoming episode of Chicago Med Season 11, Lenox will be seen struggling both in her professional and personal life.
The synopsis of the episode, via Rotten Tomatoes, reads:
“A patient’s dangerous and complicated labor forces Hannah to confront her past; Lenox’s brother Kip shows up at Gaffney asking her for her help with a co-worker who was injured on the job.”

Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 19’s synopsis states that Lenox’s brother, Kip (Logan Miller), will be back at Gaffney. Turns out, his co-worker got injured in a workplace accident. Kip asks Lenox for a favor and requests her to treat his co-worker. The synopsis or the preview does not provide further details.
We get a glimpse of Lenox almost confessing to her health condition. Lenox has kept it a secret for a long time, and now, before her condition worsens, she needs to face the harsh reality. It seems quite possible that Kip’s presence might increase her chances of revealing the truth to her colleagues or at least her close ones.
When their parents passed away, Kip and Lenox made a pact not to get tested. Around twenty years later, when Kip’s condition worsened, they got tested. While Kip’s results were negative, Lenox found out that she has the same condition that caused her mother’s death.
We last saw Kip in Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 5 titled, ‘What’s Hiding in the Dark‘, where we learnt that he was trying to rebuild his life after he found out that he did not have Gertsmann-Sträussler-Scheinker syndrome, also called GSS. He came to visit his sister Lenox to ask for their late mother’s ring. Turns out, he was in love, and he wanted to propose to his girlfriend, Gemma. Also, we find out that he now has a job. Even though Lenox was not too eager to meet Gemma, she realizes how her brother Kip has changed for good.
It would be interesting to see why Kip personally brought his co-worker to Gaffney for an injury that he/she sustained in the workplace. Is Kip trying to hide something? Was he caught doing something shady? Apart from that, we might also get a glimpse of Kip’s personal life, whether he is still with Gemma or has they parted ways?
Also, Kip has no idea about Lenox’s GSS diagnosis. How will he react when he comes to know that his sister has the same condition that took away his mother’s life?
