Days of our Lives presents a very special episode on Monday. According to spoilers for June 22, 2026, Marlena looks back at her 50 years in Salem, with some welcome faces in the mix.
Many Happy Returns
Sunday, June 21, 2026, marks 50 years since Deidre Hall first appeared on Days of our Lives and Dr. Marlena Evans became a Salem mainstay. Marlena is the heroine of the town now, the person whom everyone goes to when they need advice, and why not? Marlena is the town psychiatrist, as she has been for half a century (when she is not presumed dead or kidnapped onto an island).
On Monday, she is pleased when John’s son, Paul (Christopher Sean), comes home with his husband, Andrew (Colton Little). Marlena has missed Paul over the last year, just as she has missed John. After the anniversary of John’s death a few weeks ago, Marlena is more reflective than ever. However, she doesn’t like Belle’s (Martha Madison)obsession with that chess set.
Now that Chad (Conner Floyd) has told Belle that there was a key in a secret panel, Marlena is more chilled than ever and prays that Stefano isn’t trying to send her a message from the grave.
Cat’s In Trouble
Cat’s (AnnaLynne McCord) boss is back in town and takes her to task for going rogue when she is not an ISA field agent. She is an analyst and should not be taking so many risks. But Cat does not care. She is so close to getting dirt on EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) that she can taste it. She has come so far and is not about to give up now.
As for EJ, he has some suspicions and confronts Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) about them. After hearing that Lani (Sal Stowers) had told Kristen that Chanel (Raven Bowens) was supposed to be in Chicago the day that Sophia (Rachel Boyd) tried to kill Johnny, EJ has some questions for his sister.
He has suspected that Kristen was behind that incident, as well as Sophia’s death, for a while. Not that he is more sure than ever. How will Kristen talk her way out of this one? Is this why Kristen asks Xander to protect her later in the week?
