Days of Our Lives’ Cat Greene spent the entire episode panicking over the possibility that her ISA cover had been blown. On the May 15, 2026, episode of the soap, too many people came dangerously close to exposing Cat’s secret, and with the walls closing in, danger lurked right around the corner.
Curiosity might kill the Days of our lives’ Cat

Leo (Greg Rikaart) has Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) all figured out, and his curiosity and unwillingness to stay out of everyone else’s business could prove to be her downfall. Once he called her out for potentially being ISA, Cat did her best to laugh it off and act like it was an impossible suggestion. However, inside, she was crumbling because once the secret got out, everything she’d been working toward would be destroyed in an instant. While Lexie returning from the dead has been the biggest story across Salem, Cat has far bigger problems on the horizon.
Rafe (Galen Gering) was concerned that Leo would act like a dog with a bone and refuse to let go of his suspicions until they were confirmed. Cat and Rafe were convinced that Leo wouldn’t be able to uncover anything specific that would formally blow her cover, but there was still a chance he’d end up lurking somewhere and overhear something that could ruin everything they were working toward. Considering how easily he showed up at Rafe’s place and nearly caught Cat discussing everything with him in the kitchen, things needed to stop being sloppy, or they were going to have a serious pint-sized problem on their hands.
Close to disaster

However, the biggest issue that Cat is facing is undoubtedly E.J. and how close he is getting to uncovering the truth about his connection to her. On today’s episode, he confirmed to Cat that he planned to use hypnosis, with Marlena’s help, to learn what happened at the hospital in Italy. Cat needs to find a way to stop E.J. in his tracks before he has the ability to bring information from that time period back to the forefront of his mind. E.J. finding out about Cat being ISA could be her one-way ticket out of Salem in a body bag.
Cat is so deeply ingrained in E.J.’s business affairs that if he learned she had infiltrated them with the intention of taking him down, she could very well wind up dead. Lying all this time to someone as ruthless and calculated as E.J. was always going to be a risk, but there’s a serious chance her life will be on the line if he sniffs too close to the truth. There have been too many close calls for Cat, and eventually, she’s going to run out of lives.
