Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives
Rolf found himself in a panic when he discovered Owen Kent had been keeping Stephanie and Jeremy in a storeroom next to the lab. EJ seemed to tell Rolf that he wanted him to kill Stephanie and Jeremy, so he could ensure they could never tell anyone they saw Rolf and figure out what EJ had really been up to in the hospital basement. Shouldn’t there be a simple solution to this mess, considering mad scientist Dr. Rolf is involved? Hasn’t Rolf been able to take care of things like this before with a little bit of ‘serum’ or whatever he uses to make sure people forget things? Rolf has used his serum on countless Salemites before, including Rachel Blake just last year. He even used it on Rafe when EJ had Rafe in the tunnels and Arnold was impersonating him. Rolf always has plenty of serum to go around, so why would EJ immediately jump to murder? And why was Rolf even in a panic? All he had to do was inject Jeremy and Stephanie with one of his magic elixers and — VOILA! — they’d instantly forget they ever saw him. There have been so many plot holes in this stalker/kidnapping story that the plot is Swiss cheese at this point. Rolf’s freak-out at seeing Jeremy and Stephanie can be added to the list of questions in a storyline that mercifully needs to end.
