The new and highly awaited Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer is finally here. Fans had hoped that the trailer would be released when tickets went on sale, and while that didn’t happen, the trailer is here after a few hours.
In the newest Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer, we see how something is extremely wrong with Peter, but then again, it might be the only thing that makes him immune to the new threat to New York City.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day teases a new threat, Hulk attacking Spider-Man, and much more
The new Spider-Man: Brand New Day begins with Spider-Man struggling to keep up in fight against Scorpion. He gets badly beaten up, and we see how Peter has no idea why he cannot control his powers like he could. To fix this issue, as the trailer shows, he heads to Professor Bruce Banner and pretends to be his student to find out how to suppress his DNA, which appears to be mutating.
Peter asks Bruce Banner if he could help him in keeping the good parts of the mutation while discarding the bad parts. Banner responds by asking,
“How would you decide what parts of nature are good or bad?”
Right then, we see Peter crash into a sophisticated gathering and realize how badly he is struggling to control his powers. Bruce also realizes that Peter isn’t his student but helps him regardless. What Peter doesn’t see coming is that someone is going to use Banner against him.
The trailer then reveals that the new threat to New York City is one that no one can see or feel except Spider-Man. Interestingly, he’s the only one immune to it. This mysterious power figure makes people do strange things, as we see them make other people point out Peter Parker’s inner fears.
We then get to see Bruce Banner turn into Hulk and attack Spider-Man. It is clear that whoever is the new threat to Spider-Man is manipulating Banner against Peter. If stakes weren’t already high, this new threat targets MJ, and that’s when Peter forgets all rules and does everything in his power to save her. We see him fight The Hand, approach Frank Castle for help and even live through the fact that MJ doesn’t remember him, all to save the woman and the city he loves.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will release in theaters on July 31, 2026.
