Brady’s Bayview timeline is a little off

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

We know it’s nitpicky, but sometimes soap writers forget we are in the same soap opera day a week (and sometimes two weeks) later. When Brady told Sarah that every time he goes to see Rachel, she begs him to take her home, we wanted to remind him that he only dropped her off that morning and hasn’t been back since. Instead, he has been moping around town, talking about Rachel, arguing with Marlena, and packing his things to move into the DiMera mansion. As for Rachel, she is still wearing the same clothes she was dropped off in while playing cards with and sneaking around with Sophia Choi. This has all happened in one short day, but one average-length soap opera day. Brady is acting like Rachel has been in Bayview for weeks on end, when that is certainly not true. In fact, he will be quite surprised when he really does visit Rachel next, and she seems perfectly fine. She is even having the time of her life making mischief with Sophia, so this Bayview stay may not do what it is supposed to for either young girl. We’re sure Rachel won’t give Brady the same big, bright smile she has been giving Sophia, but something tells us she won’t be begging her dad to take her home. Sneaking around Bayview is so much more fun.
