The Bold and the Beautiful kicks off a new week with mounting pressure on Wyatt and another difficult secret weighing heavily on Donna. As Logan’s fashion show inches closer and the rivalry between Logan and Forrester intensifies, several key players find themselves forced to make choices that could have lasting consequences.
Bill Wants an Answer From Wyatt
Friday’s episode featured Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Shauna (Denise Richards) somewhat selling themselves as a package deal to Bill (Don Diamont) during their meeting. Wyatt successfully procured the Hope for the Future diamond that Bill requested to accompany the Hope Logan line. Getting the precious gem into Bill’s hands was the only way for Wyatt to secure Shauna a job as the company’s jewelry designer. Despite Shauna coming on board, Wyatt has still been somewhat apprehensive about returning to the family company after being away for several years. However, it appears as though Bill is ready to turn up the heat on his son and get him back into the fold.
On Monday, Bill puts pressure on Wyatt, presumably to make a formal decision about rejoining Spencer and working at Logan. It makes perfect sense considering both of his brothers are already there, and Shauna is being brought in to design jewelry. There’s no discernible reason why Wyatt wouldn’t rejoin the company. However, the biggest wildcard in the entire equation remains the dynamic between Wyatt and Shauna, which hasn’t quite added up since their return to Los Angeles. So far, viewers have learned that Wyatt split from Flo (Katrina Bowden), but how did he and his former fiancée’s mother become inseparable after the breakup?
Donna Faces an Impossible Choice
One of the biggest problems surrounding Katie’s entire company since it launched has been the constant need to lie to the world. Katie first withheld the identity of her original designer to protect Eric’s privacy, and now history is repeating itself with Hope. Katie and Hope are petrified of Brooke finding out and having a negative reaction, to the point that they’d rather she learn the truth alongside the rest of the world when the collection debuts. Brooke is likely to see it as the ultimate betrayal, especially considering the role she played in facilitating the reinstatement of Hope for the Future. However, she’s not the only person who could be caught in the crossfire of this Logan vs. Logan feud. The often-forgotten middle Logan, Donna (Jennifer Gareis), is once again stuck in the middle.
On Monday, Donna finds herself in a difficult position, which has been the theme of her entire story arc for the last several months. As the clock ticks closer to the launch of Eric’s couture line, so does the countdown to Logan’s next collection. Donna is uniquely positioned to give Forrester a leg up over Logan if she chooses to come clean. However, as much as she hates lying to her husband every night, she equally hates the idea of hurting her sister. Donna is in a no-win situation, and it’s not going to get any better until the world finally learns that Hope is spearheading Logan’s next collection.
