Secrets and Sacrifices
The fashion scene in Los Angeles took a sharp left turn on Friday’s all-new episode following the official reveal of Logan’s latest collection. Hope by Logan has officially hit the runway, and this week Forrester is left scrambling to recover after the blindside. Not only is Eric’s line now in jeopardy, but all of the plans for the immediate focus to shift toward Hope For the Future are also in limbo. Throughout the week, expect Forrester to do everything they can to salvage their plans and their reputation. However, is it too late for Forrester to repair the damage after yet another blindside from Katie and the Logan team?
Another major talking point heading into this week is the reality of what lying to loved ones does to relationships. Will and Donna were put in impossible positions by Katie and forced to lie to their significant others to keep the truth about Hope’s involvement from them. Electra finally gave Will another chance to prove himself to her, and he withheld information about Logan’s jewelry line. However, most of all, Eric trusted Donna to be open and honest with him, and his own wife knew about Hope joining Katie’s fashion house from the moment she signed on the dotted line, so look for him to struggle with that early in the week.
The biggest bombshell of all was the reveal of Hope as the second designer on Deke’s new line, and Brooke watched along at home, completely stunned at her daughter’s defection. First, Brooke and Katie are poised to face off over yet another perceived person poached from Forrester. Technically, Katie didn’t violate the handshake agreement, but it’s doubtful her big sister is going to feel that way. Finally, everything comes to a head on Friday as Brooke and Hope finally go head to head after the betrayal seen by millions all over the world. Will Brooke be able to support her daughter’s latest endeavor, or will she cut her off and vow to crush her as well?
