Dutton Ranch Episode 6 recap: Rip joins the 10 Petal ranch
Rip joins as the boss in the 10 Petal ranch. However, he wants Azul and Zechariah in his team as well. Their first task is to gather the herd, offload, and tag them accordingly, and help the sick ones out. Things go smoothly in the beginning, and there’s even some friendly banter between Zechariah and Austin.
After the first day, the 10 Petal crew challenges Rip’s new hand for a competition. This seems to be a good bonding technique, and Rip agrees.
Beth proves her worth in Dutton Ranch Episode 6
Beth accompanies Beluah as the women try to make a land sale. Beth had promised to help 10 Petal Ranch with her skills, and this land deal is her first test. Beth seems focused on the proposal even though Beluah questions her methods.
Beth aces the talks and proves her worth. She answers questions about the Dutton legacy and smoothly pivots to the legacy of Jackson’s.
As Beluah and Beth celebrate the deal, the matriarch of the Jacksons asks about Beth’s past and her family. Beth tries to change the topic, but Beluah insists. Beluah seems keen to know about Beth’s past so that she can use it as leverage later.

Elsewhere, Chet and Rob will spend time together. They drink together and are unhappy with the new arrangements/setting at the 10 Petal. Unfortunately, they also seem to own firearms, which is clearly not a good combination.
Chet loses control, and he confronts Joaquim. He shoots Joaquim, and the bullet hits his hand. He wants to put an end to this, but Miguel stops him. Miguel shoots Chet.
Rip offers to help an injured Joaquim, while Miguel sees to Chet’s body.
While on their way to the hospital, Rip asks Joaquin about the body he found on the ranch. Joaquin tells him that it belonged to Wes. He learns everything about Wes and how Rob-Will ‘s plan is to not return to 10 Petal anytime soon.
Meanwhile, we also find Carter hiding a secret from Beth and Rip. It seems like Everett and Beluah are developing feelings for each other. With just three episodes to go, Dutton Ranch is raising the stakes with each installment.
