Our team of shopping editors and writers are curating the best Black Friday deals they spot to share in this guide.

Planning to snap up the best Black Friday deals? We’ve got you covered for the 2025 sales

Black Friday isn’t until 28th November, but this year, the sales have started particularly early.

Major high-street chains like Currys, Lakeland and Argos showcased early offers on popular home and cleaning appliances, along with Dyson.

Beauty meccas Boots, Lookfantastic and Superdrug have dropped early beauty and gifting deals.

This morning, Charlotte Tilbury has just slashed 50% off its beauty kit ranges.

Shoppers looking for great prices on tech and appliances should head to eBay, where discounts on refurbished products are as high as 50%.

But as clever shoppers know, lots of deals can be over-inflated or misleading, so always compare prices to ensure you get the best possible price for items on your wishlist.

In this guide we’ll only feature genuine price drops, and many of the products we highlight have been tested by our experts.

Historically, some of the most impressive savings have been found at major online retailers.

Based on previous years’ events, you can expect to find the best Black Friday deals from powerhouse retailers like Amazon, Argos, Very, John Lewis, Currys, and eBay.

Beyond these giants, there are many other retailers and brands that are definitely worth keeping an eye on this month that we have listed below:

How to find the best Black Friday deals?

Shopping during Black Friday can feel overwhelming, but with a bit of planning, you can score some incredible deals.

The key is to be prepared and strategic. Check out these tips from our Sun Shopping team…

Lead eCommerce Editor, Chantelle Symester, has seen how many Black Friday sale events pan out.

In her experience, being prepared is key. She shares, “Knowing the regular price of the items you want to buy will help you spot a genuine discount and avoid fake deals.

Using price comparison websites during November will help you track price history in real-time

Chantelle Symester, Lead eCommerce Editor

“Using price comparison websites during November will help you track price history in real-time.

“These tools will help distinguish between truly genuine lowest price offers and good marketing.”

Fashion & Beauty eCommerce Writer, Sophie Bates, says, “I pride myself on being able to track down fashion and beauty deals that are actually worth shopping.

“I’ve already spotted some winners on Mulberry’s designer handbags and Shark’s LED Mask (you can read my full Shark CryoGlow review).

“Lookfantastic, Medik8 and Charlotte Tilbury all go big on beauty discounts for Black Friday, and if you’re in the market for a new hair tool, you can save hundreds of pounds on Dyson and GHD.”

Our Home and Garden eCommerce writer, Holly Gonsalves adds, “It’s no secret that appliances and household devices get some of the biggest price drops in November.

It’s no secret that appliances and household devices get some of the biggest price drops in November.

Holly Gonsalves, Home and Garden eCommerce writer

“As I research and hunt down the best home and garden deals all year round, when Black Friday rolls around, I’m well-versed in what’s really a cheap price, and what to steer clear of.

“Some retailers are better than others at slashing prices – but some of the biggest sales I recommend checking out are at Ninja, Shark, Lakeland and Dyson.”

Black Friday? Actually, it’s Black November

Forget about Black Friday and Cyber Monday being one-day sales.

Matt Breen, The Sun’s Deputy eCommerce Editor shares why there’s no need to wait for Black Friday – providing you’re smart.

Based on what I’ve seen in recent years, I predict retailers like John Lewis, Currys, Boots, AO, and LookFantastic will launch their sales a month early.

Smart shoppers will know prices can drop lower if they’re patient, but in fairness, lots of retailers are choosing to keep deal prices fixed throughout the event.

Watch out for ‘preflation’: when shops secretly raise prices before the sale, so the “bargain” is basically just the old price.

Use online trackers like Idealo and CamelCamelCamel (which is just for Amazon) to check the price history of a product you’re eyeing up.

What was in the sale last year?

Last year’s Black Friday sale was a huge success, with thousands of deals available online.
