Angry Ginge finally arrives back in Manchester still wearing his I’m A Celeb King Of The Jungle crown

I’M A CELEBRITY champ Angry Ginge has arrived back on home turf donning his Jungle Crown after his ITV show triumph.

The YouTube star, 24, stepped off his long-haul journey from Down Under to Manchester donning a blue Manchester United shirt and shorts.

The online sensation, real name Morgan Burtwistle, finished off his airport look with bright red crocs which matched his suitcase – yet it was his Jungle King headpiece which commanded all the attention.

He was given the the accessory after he beat TV star Tom Read Wilson and EastEnders actress Shona McGarty in Sunday’s show final.

As the episode reached its conclusion, hosts Ant and Dec announced Angry Ginge as King of the Jungle – taking the crown from last year’s reigning champion, McFly star Danny Jones.

Angry Ginge was all smiles as he touched down at the Arrivals terminal, firstly posing for a few solo snaps and selfies with fans before being joined by co-star and northern lass, Lisa Riley.

The Emmerdale actress showed off her recent 20lbs weight loss in all black attire, keeping snug with a patterned scarf.

She she was given the boot from camp earlier in the series in a brutal double eviction, which also saw her co-star Jack Osbourne, 40, sent home.

During the final, Ginge broke down in tears and was comforted by runner-up Tom.

He planted a kiss on the YouTube star as they celebrated an epic finale with their former campmates.

An emotional and elated Ginge said: “I don’t think I can swear, but I feel amazing.

“Honestly, a dream come true. I didn’t think I could go all this way never mind win. Thank you to everyone who voted.”

He earlier said of the experience: “It was a lot harder than I thought it’d be. I’d reached out to people before I went in to get some advice, but nobody warned me about what I was about to go through.

“No one said it was going to be that hard.”

Ginge is thought to have banked around £100K for his appearance on the show, and likely has plenty more opportunities in the pipeline after the win.

Since his victory, the Twitch streamer’s team, Man United, have also promised to roll out the red carpet for the star.

And it seems he deserves all the plaudits, after stats showed he triumphed in the final with a landslide victory.

It has npw been revealed that Ginge was miles ahead of his campmates when it came to the public vote.

Shona, 34, was the first to leave the final in third place, after she won just 22 per cent of the public vote – as opposed to 25 per cent for Tom and 53 per cent for Ginge.

With just Tom, 39, and Ginge remaining, the vote re-opened and saw Ginge nab the win.

He received a whopping 65 per cent of votes, with Tom achieving 35 per cent of the public’s backing.

Ginge has an impressive 1.9 million followers on Instagram, compared to EastEnders star Shona’s 610K followers and Celebs Go Dating star Tom’s 1.1 million followers.
