Days of our Lives brings the Sophia plot back into focus on the Thursday, May 14, 2026, episode. According to spoilers, Holly gets an earful from Amy as the latter deals with what happened to her daughter.
Will Holly’s guilt destroy her on Days of our Lives?
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) has been trying to come to terms with what happened to Sophia after they shared words in Horton Town Square. Between that and what she posted on social media, the guilt is eating away at her. Even Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) took Holly to task for saying the things she did on the internet.
Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) wants to go as far as having Holly charged with cyberbullying, as Holly’s remarks were one of the reasons Sophia cited for allegedly taking her own life. After Amy and her husband, Jason Choi (Stephen Oyoung) meet with the authorities over what can be done, Amy tracks Holly down at home.
Tate (Leo Howard) is at the Kiriakis mansion, trying to offer Holly comfort and support, so he is there to hear Amy read his girlfriend for filth. Amy completely blames Holly for Sophia’s death and is determined to make her pay emotionally and legally. Holly begs for Amy to hear her out, but Amy is in no mood. She has to put her anger and grief somewhere, so directing it toward Holly is all she can do.
Wait until she learns who is really to blame for what happened to Sophia. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) had better watch out.
Chanel’s biopsy
At the hospital, Chanel (Raven Bowens) takes a deep breath and readies for her biopsy. Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Sarah are both there for support, but that might be a cold comfort if the results are what Sarah fears.
Sarah believes that Chanel indeed has breast cancer. The biopsy should reveal more of what Chanel is dealing with, but the road ahead won’t be easy. Chanel will need treatment that might not be able to wait until she gives birth. That will cause Chanel to worry about what the treatment might do to the developing fetus.
Will Chanel finally tell her mother what is going on or will she let Paulina (Jackee Harry) deal with the Lexie (Nikki Crawford) news before dropping this latest bomb?
