Heartbreak High Season 3 has come to an end. The last episode of the season, titled Destined, was released on March 25 on Netflix. The synopsis of the episode read:
“The gang heads to Schoolies to celebrate their graduation, but a shocking revelation forces them to confront tough choices once again.”

In the finale episode of Heartbreak High Season 3, Amerie takes over the plan of taking revenge by stealing the statue from St. Bruno. However, the group gets into a problem after someone turns on the ride, leading to the owner being in a coma, after which they are expelled. Turns out it was Sasha who did it. On the other hand, Ca$h and Darren also face tough choices after Darren decides to move to New York. Ca$h understands and encourages him to do so, and the couple decides to be in a long-distance relationship.
Viewers also see a hopeful ending for Malakai and Amerie, with Malakai finally telling all his feelings and waiting for her as she goes on the trip.
Heartbreak High Season 3 Episode 8 recap: Amerie’s plan goes wrong at the carnival
In Heartbreak High Season 3, the students are shifted to another school after a fire damages the school. While the schools were already having a rivalry of their own, this also led to Hartley’s mascot being stolen by the other school. In the finale, Amerie also meets Malakai, who has no problem going along with her plan of stealing St. Bruno’s statue.
Amerie decides to secretly take St. Bruno’s statue with the hope of destroying it later with her friends. They decide to keep the statue taken from the school on the ride, and after the ride starts, Amerie’s ex falls, which leads to a shoulder injury. At the same time, Clancy also falls into a coma.
The schoolers believe that this incident wasn’t their fault and it was the carnival’s fault. However, Amerie was quite suspicious and believed that someone intentionally turned on the ride, which led to the accident. At the same time, viewers also see Liam and Harper getting closer.
Amerie and her friends were hell-bent on not turning on the ride, which left the authorities with the question of who turned on the ride in the first place. However, the group was still present at the carnival, which only complicated the situation. As a result, the friend group’s final is cancelled, and they are all expelled.
After much investigation and coming to know that even Noah and Seb could also be involved in the incident, they found a person running away wearing a mask, as captured on the dashcam. Thankfully, the group’s expulsion is cancelled, which comes as happy news, as they can continue with their graduation.
Suspicion shifted from Liam to Sasha after Amerie finds the rabbit mask, and when she confronts her at a boat party, it ends badly with Sasha falling off the boat. Though Amerie and Malakai decide to help her. She finally admits to turning on the ride as she felt left out, and in anger, she decided to do so.
Heartbreak High Season 3 finale recap: Darren and Ca$h reach a solution
While Ca$h and Darren’s relationship was working fine, the two faced problems after Darren decided that they wanted to move to New York. While Ca$h is very understanding of Darren’s dream of pursuing acting, he also doesn’t want to leave his grandmother behind due to her growing age.
Thankfully, even after the complicated situation, Darren and Ca$h come out strong and decide to try a long-distance relationship instead of leaving each other.
Heartbreak High Season 3 ending explained: Malakai and Amerie’s relationship takes a turn
Spider and Missy’s relationship starts falling apart after he brings up the idea of a “hall pass.” Spider thinks that Missy might still be interested in girls, and this could be the reason behind their distance in the relationship.
While he was feeling bad about his words, he later saw Malakai and Missy kissing each other, which just worsened the situation, and the two started fighting.
While Malakai reveals his feelings to Amerie, Amerie decides to end things with him, and she ends up with Naoh. Though their relationship doesn’t last long. Thanks to Malakai’s confession and his admitting what he actually feels for Amerie, the two end on a hope of being together again as Malakai waits for her after she goes on a trip with Harper after graduation.
