Alleged messages and photos claim D4vd met Celeste Rivas at the age of 12, as per an exclusive New York Post article. The publication obtained screenshots of messages posted by the rapper on fan rooms specifically asking for Celeste Rivas.
Similarly, screenshots of Reddit posts suggest that the rapper was dating a minor who ran away from home. An unidentified redditor who claimed to live in Lake Elisnore, the same place Rivas hailed from, stated to the Post:
“My sister who is now in 9th grade told me that [D4vd] was dating an 8th grader (let’s call her C) and she would go on trips with him to LA.”
As per the publication’s report, the rapper also made a song in which he named her and an old photo shows him with someone looking like Rivas.
There is also a connection, as per the report, between the missing person report of Rivas, which included the fact that she was wearing Hello Kitty Sandals and an old photo of D4vd beside a similar pair of Hello Kitty Sandals, with a woman holding a Hello Kitty doll clipped to D4vd’s belt.
The link is also to a video of D4vd from TikTok, first posted in 2024, which later resurfaced in 2025, where D4vd enacts himself falling, with a caption written over the snippet that read:
“When your card declines at therapy and they bring in that hello kitty girl you met in 2021.”
In 2021, Celeste Rivas would have been 12.
The claims from the alleged photos and messages have not been officially confirmed as of the writing of this article.
A brief overview of Celeste Rivas’ autopsy findings as D4vd faces charges for her murder
D4vd was charged with murder in the first degree of Celeste Rivas on April 20, 2026. Other charges against him include continuous s*xual abuse of a child under age 14 as well as mutiliation of a body, as per Billboard. The maximum penalties of the charge, if convicted, include the possibility of life in prison without parole or even the death penalty.
The formal charges against the rapper were announced by Nathan Hochman, Los Angeles County District Attorney, after he was arrested on suspicion of murder by the police on April 16, 2026.
Rivas’s autopsy report was released by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner on April 22, 2026. The overview of the report given on the Los Angeles County website states:
“The County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner (DME) determined the cause and manner of death for 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez as multiple penetrating injuries caused by object(s). The manner of death is homicide.”
As per Variety, the report contains descriptions of two wounds suffered by Rivas, including two wounds on her chest, one that penetrated her liver through the upper abdomen and the second in her left chest.
As per ABC News, the autopsy also found traces of benzodiazepines and meth/MDMA. The traces were only presumptive positive, aka based on preliminary testing.
As per Legal Clarity, a presumptive positive is an initial positive drug test that has not been confirmed by a laboratory. D4vD has pleaded not guilty to the charges, with his lead attorney, Blair Berk, stating to the court:
“We believe the actual evidence will show David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez. We would like to have the evidence come into the light of day.”
Celeste Rivas was found dismembered and decomposing in several bags inside Dv4d’s Tesla car’s front trunk back in 2025. The body was found after the car was towed away to a tow lot and the towing company informed the police of a foul smell emanating from the car.
