Alex’s mea culpa moment as Owen is caught

Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, March 16, 2026, tease the end of Stephanie’s stalker story and Alex’s one-track mind.

What to expect on Days of our Lives

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) thinks he was right all along when he finds Jeremy (Michael Roark) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) in the store room right by EJ’s secret lab. Stephanie is unconscious, so Alex is sure that Jeremy has to be responsible for putting her in that state. Somehow, Jeremy manages to convince Alex that he is not the stalker and that he has been held hostage with Stephanie.

Alex apologizes to Jeremy for doubting him every time he denied being the stalker. He doesn’t care that he now has to eat crow because at least Stephanie is safe and sound. She is already in a hospital, so she quickly receives treatment for her hypothermia, much to Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) relief.

As for Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Brady (Eric Martsolf), they finally track down Owen (Wes Ramsey) and demand answers. Brady interrogates Owen and gets him to tell them where Stephanie is. They bring Owen into the Salem PD and are thrilled to learn that Stephanie has already been found and will be okay. But that doesn’t mean hospital problems are over.

Rafe’s big find

Rafe (Galen Gering) didn’t manage to find Stephanie, but he did stumble across EJ’s life-size pod in the secret lab room. Rafe has to leave the pod behind when he hears Alex shouting, but he later reports what he found to Mayor Paulina (Jackee Harry). Rafe has no idea that Paulina is well aware of what EJ is up to in that lab, but she allows Rafe to speak so she can deduce if he knows everything.

Paulina realizes that the Lexie (Nikki Crawford) secret is safe for now, but she knows that Rafe won’t give up and is going to keep digging. Will she tell EJ what Rafe found so that his experiment isn’t compromised or will she let the chips fall where they may?

As for EJ, his plans to move the pod are delayed when Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) impulsively kisses him. Since EJ has wanted this kiss, he can’t seem to tear himself away from Cat to do his own dirty work?
