This week on Days of our Lives, April 27 to May 1, 2026, expect a week of shocking plots in Salem as Alex learns he’s a dad, Kristen gets her revenge, and Sophia surprises all.
Guess what, Alex?
Nobody was more stunned than Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) when he opened his front door to find Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) standing there with a baby girl in a stroller. Joy introduces the baby as Alex’s daughter, Kelsey. She didn’t tell Alex she was pregnant when she left town because she didn’t think Alex wanted a baby. Now, Joy wants her daughter to know her father, so she has returned.
We later learn that Jeremy is the one who brought Joy to town after learning that Alex did want a baby after all. The two meet and discuss their ulterior motives. It’s very clear that Jeremy still wants Stephanie (Abigail Klein), especially after he gets the wrong idea and makes a move that he shouldn’t. Stephanie also has to deal with Alex’s news that he is a father, something that will surely put a wrench in this very new and tumultuous marriage.
Johnny won’t know what hit him
Johnny (Carson Boatman) also opens his front door to a big surprise. Sophia (Rachel Boyd) is standing there and immediately sprays something in Johnny’s face to temporarily blind him. Sophia puts Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) crazy plot into action while Chanel (Raven Bowens) is away, but Chanel might be the one to save him.
Of course, Chanel has her own problems as she heads to the hospital to undergo a mammogram on her own. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is there to support Chanel and offer her reassurance, but Chanel still fears that she won’t be there to watch her children grow up. When she gets home, she will see that she has more fears than just her health, as there is a fire to put out with her husband.
What about Sophia?
Sophia appears to be agonized with guilt over what she has done and leaves a suicide note in her room for her mother to find. A frantic Amy (Shi Ne Nielsen) calls Brady (Eric Martsolf) over to search for Sophia because she knows her daughter is in much worse shape than she imagined.
What Sophia doesn’t count on is Kristen having the ultimate revenge plan in mind. It looks like Sophia is also Kristen’s victim, as she can’t have any loose ends out there. Besides, in Kristen’s mind, what Sophia did to Rachel (Lorelei Mote) was unforgivable, so she needs to pay as much as EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel).
If Kristen wants Sophia and EJ to both pay in unimaginable ways, what does she have in store for Marlena (Deidre Hall), whom she also blames? Will Marlena be the final person on Kristen’s list?
