Aaron Thorsen returned in The Rookie Season 8 Episode 17
The Rookie Season 8 Episode 17 opened with the return of a beloved character, Aaron Thorsen, who was the victim of a carjacking. When Aaron was out and about, driving in his expensive car, he was ambushed and the thieves took his car and wallet. What’s suspicious is that the thieves were well aware of Aaron’s $800,000 watch, which was not even on display but they took it as well. As Aaron arrived at the station to ask for help from his former colleagues, they sprang into action. Lucy Chen rounded up all criminal hotspots in anticipation of Aaron’s car and watch but she had no luck. Elsewhere, after Aaron learned that Tim was hunting for a ring for Lucy, he hooked him up with his jewelry guy, Pierre.
The LAPD eventually tracked down Aaron’s car to Winchell, one of Pierre’s armed guards, who had their eyes on Aaron’s watch. After a difficult chase scene, Aaron happily retrieves his watch from the criminal, who is then arrested. As Aaron’s storyline warps on The Rookie Season 8 Episode 17, Tim finally found an engagement ring for Lucy.
Liam Glasser’s ominous warning to Nolan in The Rookie Season 8 Episode 17
The Rookie Season 8 Episode 17 saw Liam Glasser’s brutal custody battle, who was accompanied by none other than his corrupt lawyer. Since Nolan was on medical leave, he was asked to take the stand in the hearing. Even after Malcolm pressed him for information and cross-examined him, Nolan maintained his stance that Liam is dangerous and even tried to kill a police officer. The judge agreed with Nolan’s statements because he was an honest officer who was even ready to take a bullet for Glasser to protect him.
Following the hearing, Miranda secured full custody of her children in The Rookie Season 8 Episode 17. Glasser was also hit with a restraining order barring him from any contact with the kids, an outcome that left both Nolan and Miranda relieved and satisfied. As Nolan and Glasser parted ways, the latter hinted that he would get even more menacing now that his children were not with him. Glasser takes his leave after warning Nolan that whatever happens now is on him.
