Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Wednesday, March 4th: A Dupree Woman Is Worth The Wait
Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates
I really feel for Carlton, and today was another day that just made me wanna reach into the screen and take Carlton for a “bro” talk. He is so smitten with Nicole, but she is not being straight up with him. It’s not much to ask, is it? She’s just living her best life, that’s all I hear or read, but is she? Would she put up with Carlton, or Kial, for that matter, if they were acting like her? All she needs to do is just tell Carlton that she is dating and sleeping with Kial, that they are not exclusive, and that means that she will go as far as she wants with anyone she wants. That’s the brutal honesty that Carlton needs.
As far as Carlton was concerned, he was the only one that she had slept with, and that with Kial, there was a connection, and they did dates, etc., but nothing more.
And for anyone championing Nicole, I ask you this: You date her then, put yourself in Carlton’s position, are you staying for that? Not on your life. Living vicariously through Nicole is one thing, but she is engaging in all the behaviors that women would hate if the men they were with did the same to them. Wait for Carlton to snap.
