The outing marked Citron’s first double double of the 2026 season and showcased her growing influence on both ends of the floor. She shot an efficient 7 of 13 from the field and was flawless from the free throw line, converting all 12 of her attempts.
Citron takes over in the fourth quarter
The game remained close deep into the second half, with Connecticut erasing Washington’s lead and tying the score at 70 during the fourth quarter.
