Days of our Lives takes us on an emotional journey on Thursday, June 18, 2026, as it’s a big day for Chanel. According to the latest spoilers, her family rallies around her at the hospital. In addition, Lexie gets some big news from Rolf and Abe and Paulina mark a bittersweet milestone.

Despite her hesitancy, Chanel (Raven Bowens) begins her cancer treatment in earnest. Of course, the first step involves anesthesia and surgery, so Chanel has to brace herself when she arrives for her procedure. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is there to walk her through each step, while Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Paulina (Jackee Harry) rally around her.

Johnny and Paulina are also nervous wrecks about what comes next and need to lean on one another. Paulina also has another occasion on her mind. It’s her and Abe’s (James Reynolds) fourth wedding anniversary, and they are no longer together. Little does Paulina know that Lexie (Nikki Crawford) might not be with Abe for long.

Has Paulina given up on her plan to give Chanel the wonder drug that brought Lexie back to life? Chanel was adamant that she wasn’t putting anything experimental in her pregnant body, but that doesn’t mean that Paulina will listen.

Rolf Has News

Lexie and EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) refuse to let anyone know that Dr. Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) miracle drug might not be such a miracle after all. Or at least it’s not a long-lasting miracle. Lexie is determined to do what she has to in order to stay alive, but that will be easier said than done.

A trip to Rolf’s lab produces mixed results. While Rolf has some good news, Lexie is still quite weak and loses her balance. That is another step toward deteriorating unless Rolf can stop things in their tracks. He is willing to give Lexie another dose of the Versavix, but warns her that it might just make things worse. Lexie is willing to take that chance because she is not willing to leave Abe and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) again, after she just returned to them.

Do you think Chanel will survive the cancer? Can Rolf give Lexie her third lease on life? Let us know what you think in the comments.
