A significant development in the complication about Blue’s removal from the department is also delved into in this episode of 9-1-1: Nashville Season 1. Though Don wanted to tell Blue about Edward’s demand to remove Blue from the department in exchange for helping him, he could not tell him. Ryan also told Don to make Blue aware of the situation before it’s too late. In this episode, Don finally tells Blue about Edward’s demands.

It cannot be denied that Blue’s life will be getting complicated because he even was removed from his previous job. However, Don also assures Blue that he will not give up on him and will keep fighting for him. Though Don was not able to stay during most of the time while Blue was growing up, Don’s constant eagerness to make up for that leaves an impact. He is truly trying his best to become a good father to Blue.

Though Edward was adamant about not giving in to the demands of the hackers, he eventually decided to accept their demands and pay the ransom. Good news also arrives when Cammie finds out from Agent Turner that the hacker has also caught. The name of the hacker is Sergei Petrov. He is a former colonel in the Russian GRU.

The celebrations are doubled with this information. A significant change in the relationship between Cammie and Agent Turner can be seen in this episode of 9-1-1: Nashville Season 1. The suffering of their past becomes the driving factor in the development of their relationship. They even share their phone numbers. It would be intriguing to see the relationship between the two of them blossom through the upcoming episodes of the series.

Though Blue did not go through the intense training that the other emergency responders of Station 113 did, he was dedicated to the job. He tried his best by navigating through the challenges with the main focus of helping others. He did not even care about his own life. He undeniably deserves to be a part of the team.

Edward was not aware of the dedication that Blue came with and was only driven by the complex relationship Blue has with his family, causing him to ask for his removal. However, after he witnesses the team in action, he becomes aware that Blue deserves to be in that position.

He changes his decision to remove Blue, finally bringing forth the relief in both Blue and Don’s minds. He even takes care of the budget issue of the department, making sure that none of the team members have to face a layoff.
