On the Monroney sticker, our test vehicle carried a base price of $114,900, with options for the wheel upgrade and additional appointments pushing the as-tested total to roughly $126,150 including destination and handling. That’s still tens of thousands less than a comparably equipped Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4MATIC or BMW i7 xDrive60, and the Grand Touring simply goes farther on a charge than either one. Against the Porsche Taycan Turbo and the Tesla Model S Long Range, the story is the same: nothing else wearing four doors and a luxury badge covers this much ground on a single charge, and few can match the Lucid’s blend of straight-line speed and efficiency in the same sentence.
Is the Lucid Air Grand Touring perfect? Not quite. Lucid‘s dealer and service footprint remains far smaller than the established German brands, which matters for buyers who value nearby service centers. The ride firms up noticeably on the optional larger wheels, and the brand’s relative newness in the ultra-luxury space may still give some traditional buyers pause.
