Taking a deeper dive into Noah Wyle’s personal life

Noah Wyle met and fell in love with Tracy Warbin in 1996 on the sets of his romcom, The Myth of Fingerprints. Warbin was heading the movie’s makeup and hair department.

The couple tied the knot in 2000, a year after announcing their engagement. They welcomed Owen in November 2002 and Auden in October 2005.

In January 2010, Tracy Warbin’s publicist confirmed that she and Noah Wyle had gone their separate ways in October 2009 and were heading towards a divorce. They were given joint custody of their children.

Warbin, 58, was a producer on the 1995 teen flick Kids, the 1996 psychological drama Sling Blade, and the 2002 anime adaptation, The Cat Returns. According to her Instagram bio, she is also a stage/ production manager and a director of production at TEDx, Santa Barbara.

Auden followed in her dad’s footsteps. She had a guest appearance on Sara Wells and Noah Wyle’s series Leverage: Redemption and will appear in the upcoming projects: The Vanishing Tour and California Skate.

Noah Wyle told PEOPLE in June 2025 at the Gotham TV Awards that his son is:

“taking all sorts of film classes with an eye towards ending up in this industry somewhere.”

He continued:

“I tell him every day it’s a big tent. We’ve got truck drivers, lawyers, carpenters. But he really likes the circus, and so it’s gonna be hard to keep him out from under the big tent. I’ve tried to make this business seem difficult and challenging, which it is. And they don’t have any illusions that lightning strikes often in the same place.”

Back then, Noah Wyles claimed his older children hadn’t watched ER but enjoyed Grey’s Anatomy, joking that it’s a “point of contention” in the family. He also mentioned that they told him about his new “heartthrob” status, adding:

“These all exist in cyberspace, this stuff… If they are, they haven’t told me they’re embarrassed. I think they’re just amused. I think they’re more amused because they know how much it embarrasses me, and how out of touch I feel with it all. So, I think that’s mostly what they get out of it.”

Meanwhile, Auden celebrated her dad’s win at the 2026 Actor Awards. She shared throwback pictures of them on her IG Stories and wrote:

“No words to describe how proud I am of this man. Growing up watching how much you love being an actor and a part of this world has been something so special. It’s the greatest gift in the world to watch you get your flowers. You are an inspiration all around, but you were mine first. Congratulations, I love you xoxo.”

According to IMDb, Sara Wells met her husband in late 2010 and began dating a few months later. Their wedding was officiated by Jan Dance, the wife of musician David Crosby. Wells is known for her appearances on television shows, including Nip/ Tuck and Californication.
