James Wolk, who recently appeared in the TV series Happy Face, has done a number of famous shows, some of which include Mad Men, Harley Quinn, and Ordinary Joe. Alongside James, viewers will also see Dylan Arnold, famous for Lady in the Lake, You, Oppenheimer, and Halloween.

Joining the cast is Chad Willett, who is famous for A Dickens of a Holiday! and Big Sky. Alongside Vought Rising, he is also set to appear in Off Campus and Sgt. Fruit Fly. The fourth confirmed cast member joining the series is Josh Randall, famous for Quarry, Ozark, and Untamed.

As of now, the creators and production house have not confirmed the role the new cast will be playing in The Boys prequel.

The series was announced last year in July by Amazon Press. Speaking of what viewers can expect from the series, executive producers Eric Kripke and Paul Grellong said at that time:

“We are excited to bring you the next deranged series from the world of The Boys. It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought. We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V”

Additionally, the release date of the series is also not yet confirmed by the production house. However, as per the recent reports, the series is expected to have multiple seasons, as hinted by the lead actor Jensen Ackles to Collider.

In a statement, he said:

“When they pitched it, they were like, ‘Hey, we’re thinking about doing this prequel thing, going back to the 1950s with Soldier Boy.’ I don’t think I let them finish the sentence before I was like, ‘Yes!’ But I know that the intent is to have it be a multi-season show.”

The last season of The Boys is scheduled to release on April 8. The season is reported to have eight episodes in total. It will be available to stream on Amazon Prime with a subscription.
