Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives
So far, Rachel’s return to Bayview has been completely bizarre. Before Brady and Kristen even told Rachel she had to return to the irresponsible mental health facility, Brady told Kristen that Rachel had given Holly those pills after Sophia tricked her. Two days later, when Brady dropped Rachel off at Bayview, he had no idea why Rachel had given Holly those pills until she told him. Last week, when asked for an update on Rachel, Brady raved about how she was doing great. She had adjusted well, was going to therapy, and was really trying to get better. We wondered how she had accomplished all that in the three hours she had been there, since it was still the same soap opera day in which he had dropped her off. Today, Brady had another update on Rachel’s first night at Bayview, which would have been the second night if her timeline was right. Apparently, she was resentful and not listening to anything anyone told her to do. When Kristen visited Rachel, we saw that Brady was absolutely right. Rachel was bitter, angry, and in tears. What happened to the well-adjusted Rachel, who was miraculously on her best behavior? Clearly, scenes are being shot out of order and then not edited together correctly because that poor child’s timeline is all messed up, and it’s quite noticeable.
