PAW Patrol Dino Movie drops with 8 celebrity voices

The PAW Patrol pups are heading somewhere they have never been before — a lost tropical island crawling with dinosaurs — and they are bringing an extraordinary lineup of celebrity voices along for the ride. Paramount Animation and Spin Master Entertainment have released the first official trailer for PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, officially set for a theatrical release on Aug. 14, 2026, and the response from fans of the long-running animated franchise has been enthusiastic.

What the movie is about

The story begins when the PAW Patrol’s ship is caught in a mysterious storm, sending the pups crash-landing onto an uncharted tropical island teeming with prehistoric life. There they meet Rex, a pup who has been stranded on the island for years and has developed an extraordinary expertise in everything dinosaur-related. The adventure quickly escalates when Mayor Humdinger — the PAW Patrol’s enduring archrival — arrives on the island and begins reckless mining operations in pursuit of its natural resources. His greed triggers the eruption of a massive dormant volcano, and the pups find themselves racing against time to stop him before the island’s entire population of dinosaurs, and everything else on it, is wiped out. The film is directed by Cal Brunker, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Bob Barlen.
