A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m. Today for several Ohio counties, including Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Logan, Miami, and Shelby, as well as Crawford and Erie counties to the north. The National Weather Service issued the watches as a cold front approaches from the west and pushes through the region during the late afternoon and evening hours.
