The creator of Nobody Wants This, Erin Foster, is set to appear on screen in Season 3 alongside new cast members Sarah Silverman, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, and Andrew Rannells.
Season 3 of the Netflix rom-com series is currently being filmed in Los Angeles and is scheduled to release later this year. Though the official release date hasn’t been confirmed yet by the production house.
Created by Erin Foster, the series features Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Kristen Bell, and Jackie Tohn in the main leads. Foster will play the character of Nicole, a woman who has been on her own for a long time without any relationships and lives an unpredictable life that usually leads to problems.
Along with her work as a writer and producer, Foster has also taken on many acting roles in the past, appearing in a number of projects, including NCIS: Los Angeles, Law & Order: Los Angeles, She’s Such A Girl, Castle, and Tell Me You Love Me.

Nobody Wants This, Season 3, has added three new faces to its cast, which are Sarah Silverman, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, and Andrew Rannells. Silverman, famous for Maestro, Bob’s Burgers, and Menorah in the Middle, is a two-time winner of Primetime Emmy Awards and nominee for Golden Globes and Grammy Awards.
Andrew, being a versatile actor, has appeared in many hit projects, which include The Intern, A Simple Favor, Elsbeth, Another Simple Favor, and Invincible. In Nobody Wants This Season 3, Rannells will play the role of Sebastian. Sebastian is the main rival of Joanne in her conversion class. On the other hand, Silverman will play the role of Rabbi Eden. Her character will be a big support for Joanne and Noah and their journey. At the same time, she is a little quirky yet kind, which will likely make her character stand out.
The Freeridge star Keyla Monterroso Mejia is also joining the cast as Amber. Mejia appeared in Valentina, The Studio, and Acapulco, which were released last year. Some of her other famous projects include Launchpad, The 90 Day Plan, and #Whitina. Her character in Nobody Wants This will be determined to marry within the Jewish community. She will also be attending Joanne’s Intro to Judaism class.
The upcoming season will also feature many guest stars, including Avan Jogia, Poorna Jagannathan, Sadie Sandler, Stephanie Koenig, and Steven Weber. Jogia will play the character of Travis, a secure and carefree guy, while Jagannathan will play the role of a sharp-tongued aunt named Eleanor.
Weber will play the role of Julian, a father, and Sandler will play the role of Denise, who is a young intuitive reader. Viewers will see Koenig in the role of a cynical dater named Poppy.
Speaking of Nobody Wants This Season 3, Erin Foster said in a statement to Tudum:
“I couldn’t be more excited to head into a third season of this show. It is a privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on a scale like this. As long as it doesn’t take too much time away from me watching reality TV at night, I’ll do it for as long as they want me to!”
Season 3 of Nobody Wants This is scheduled to release later this year.
