Here’s a series synopsis: Singles who want to be loved for who they are have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating, and will choose someone to marry without ever meeting them. Over several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding, and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the pods. When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with? This addictive 12-episode social experiment will uncover whether looks, race, or age do matter — or if love really is blind.
In the trailer seen here, there’s plenty of tears, doubts, at least one blindside and one single woman being surprised at her fiancé’s actions (“That is not my lifestyle”) in the real world ahead of their wedding. Plus, one guy just leaves and possibly exits the show before h’s set to get married??
“Something in my gut [is] telling me this isn’t right,” one woman says, with another lamenting, “He really had me convinced that he was gonna be my husband.”
Don’t worry, there still seems to be plenty of love to go around!
“I feel like I could scream, and laugh, and cry all at once,” one woman shared.
Love Is Blind season nine will once again be hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, and is set to debut October 1st with the first six episodes. Additional episodes will roll out in batches weekly on Wednesdays, with the finale set for October 22nd.
If you missed it, meet all 32 singles from this season, who are all from Denver, Colo., area!
