General Hospital character Britt had a plan to get away with Jason, but that didn’t work out. Off-screen, Britt’s portrayer, Kelly Thiebaud, is having much better luck with travel plans. She recently shared some thoughts from her London vacation, letting all of that drama back in Port Charles stay there!
General Hospital star finds her footing abroad
“I’m in London,” Thiebaud wrote on Instagram. “I’ve been spending most of my time here alone. I’ve been feeling really lonely, so I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and go exploring.” She continued, noting that she was glad she had the opportunity to do so.
“I had an awesome day,” Thiebaud continued. “Did a Photo Booth picture to remember this experience. I’ll share more later. Doing another adventure tomorrow.” The image she shared captured that moment perfectly: a simple photo booth strip with soft lighting and a relaxed expression on her face. It was the kind of snapshot that feels less posed and more like proof she showed up for her own day.
Tanisha Harper (Jordan) responded to her co-star’s post, “Kicking myself for not joining you!!!” while Thiebaud shot back, “@tanishaharper would have been so fun! The next one. :)” Native-born Brit, Finola Hughes (Anna), added, “I love Brighton!! I hope you stay over. It’s a great city. My favorite train journey.” And Van Hansis (Lucas) kept it simple and effective: “I’d adventure with you anywhere!”
Postcards from the Edge

Fans leaned in just as hard, but with a slightly different energy. @antkristi13 shared a full story about solo travel across the UK, calling it “empowering” and something that “makes all the rules yours.” @froehlich.kate admitted it can be lonely but also “so liberating!!” while @kellibruns13 confessed, “I’m going to London in September on a solo trip. I’m nervous but excited.”
It stopped being about one post and started looking like a group chat built in the comments. What makes the moment effective isn’t the location, but her honesty. Thiebaud didn’t dress it up as glamorous or effortless. She said she felt lonely, then showed what it looked like to continue forward anyway.
And that’s where the connection with her fans was truly important. The followers weren’t just reacting to the photo. They reacted to Thiebaud’s choice behind it. The bold decision to step outside, take the train, sit in the booth, and make the day count anyway. It may not have seemed like a lot, but it somehow helped viewers to truly connect with her in a way that was far bigger than a mere social post.
