Created by Noah Hawley, the FX series featured Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, Adarsh Gourav, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Jonathan Ajayi, David Rysdahl, Diêm Camille, Moe Bar-El, Adrian Edmondson, and Timothy Olyphant in Season 1.

While Peter Dinklage has been confirmed for Alien: Earth Season 2, the details about his character, including the name and description, have not been shared as of now by the production house. It will be interesting to see how his character, being a series regular, contributes to the overall story.

As for the filming, the production house has changed the location from Thailand, where the Alien: Earth season one was filmed, to London for the upcoming season. The filming will be done in Pinewood Studios in London. The Pinewood Studios has been a filming ground for many famous movies and series in the past, some of which include Ant-Man, Captain America, Prometheus, Passengers, and Gen V.

While the release date of Alien: Earth Season 2 has not been confirmed as of now, the season might take from one to two years to complete the post-production. The filming will reportedly start in May, which leads to a possibility that the series could be released next year or the following year. Though it completely depends on post-production timelines.

Being the first TV series in the Alien franchise, the series has earned over seven stars on IMDb. As of now, the production house has not shared any details about what Season 2 will revolve around or its official logline, keeping it a mystery for the fans of the show.

Speaking of the Season 1 finale, creator Noah Hawley told The Hollywood Reporter:

“This chapter is closed, but Yutani troops are landing. The balance of power has shifted. These children have no idea what’s coming. The last line of ‘Now we rule’ is triumphant and uplifting. But cut to 10 minutes later … what is going to be happening? So I like that it has that real-time urgency to it.”

Last year, Peter appeared in another FX series titled The Lowdown, created by Sterlin Harjo. Along with Peter, the other cast included Ethan Hawke, Keith David, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong.

Alien: Earth Season 1 is currently streaming on Hulu and Disney Plus.
