What happened on The Young and the Restless
This week on The Young and the Restless, Diane rejected Traci and Kyle’s pleas to hear Jack out. Traci blasted Diane for seeking forgiveness after faking her own death but being unwilling to show Jack the same grace. Nikki tried to reason with Diane, but Diane slammed the door in her face. Jack and Nikki contemplated staging a romance to make Victor and Diane jealous.
He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Father
Holden informed Cane that Lily’s father, Malcolm, was going through some stuff. Cane wondered how Holden knew that Malcolm was Lily’s dad. Holden explained that Malcolm was also his father, and therefore, he and Lily are siblings. Stephanie told Lily that she was in Genoa City when she was born, and that she remembers her being a youngster who knew what she wanted. Stephanie encouraged Lily to give Holden a chance. Lily rejected Cane’s attempt to lend an ear.
London’s Calling, Pregnant Pause
Billy canceled his trip to London when Sally felt ill. Audra covertly dropped off a pregnancy test at Sally’s request, and the women became emotional as they discussed the babies they’d lost. The test indicated Sally was pregnant, and she summoned Billy home to tell him the news. Audra later shared a close moment with Noah when they reflected on her miscarriage.
Office romance
Michael had Lauren’s office decorated with flowers and had champagne delivered. He showed up to celebrate her first official day of working with Phyllis at Summers Conglomorate. Michael gave Lauren a gift, a watch that had no hands, to show her that his support has no boundaries or time limits. Michael and Lauren sipped champagne and then began kissing and going a bit further.
Law & Order: Special Children’s Unit
Abby was upset when she found out Devon hadn’t consulted her before he went ahead and filed a petition to review Mariah’s plea agreement. Devon wants Mariah to do jail time — not for punishment per se, but so that Dominic is safe. Abby is more on the fence. Christine and Sharon tried to reason with Dominic’s parents. Devon left after he advised that they save their arguments for court. Abby seemed more open to the idea of Mariah receiving psychiatric care — not going to the big house.
Also, Chelsea tracked down Adam in Las Vegas and immediately clashed with Riza. Adam confided to Chelsea his suspicions that Nick might have developed a drug addiction. Matt accused Riza of working with Adam against him.
The Nick of Time
Matt told Adam and Chelsea that Nick was dead from a drug overdose. They refused to believe him. Matt invited Adam to go with him to see for sure. He agreed to go. Chelsea insisted on going with them, but Adam told her to stay put and remain safe. Matt took Adam to the storage room, where Nick was bound and motionless. As Adam tended to Nick, Matt knocked Adam out and left. When Adam regained consciousness, he was relieved to discover that Nick was still alive.
Chelsea pleaded with Matt to tell her where Adam and Nick were, but Matt opted to disappear. Nick found a stash of bills in the storage room and secretly pocketed them. Adam called Chelsea from a hotel phone and led her to the storage room, where she rescued the men.
Danger Island
Matt sent a text message to Sharon from Nick’s phone, inviting her to Vegas to see Matt go down. Sharon and Noah planned to head to Vegas, not knowing they were walking into Matt’s trap.
Chelsea urged Nick to call Sharon to let her know that he was safe, but he didn’t want to do that. Matt was seen walking off an elevator, flashing an evil grin.
