Carly, Lucas, Britt, Valentin, Laura: General Hospital recap, April 13

This week on General Hospital, Laura told Ezra Sidwell’s flight plan may hide a larger agenda, while Valentin informed Nina he can help her deal with Jack. Ethan told Lulu he came back to Port Charles to see her.

Michael explained to Kristina that he plans to find proof that Willow shot Drew and use it against her. Carly told Lucas she is seeing someone other than Jack. Willow forced leverage over Nina and later told Jacinda to stay away from her children.

What happened on General Hospital?

Willow told Nina that the footage was not misleading and that she had shot Drew. She then admitted Drew did not suffer a stroke on his own and said she had been drugging him with medication tied to Sidwell. Nina learned she had unknowingly injected Drew herself, which meant the syringe now had her prints on it. Willow told Nina she was not blackmailing her but creating insurance, and she made clear she expected her mother to stay on her side.

Willow also explained how she stole Edward’s gun, meant only to scare Drew, and then snapped after the judge was killed. She said she felt cornered and believed it was either Drew or her children. Nina tried to reassure her, but Willow kept returning to control. She said she could not survive losing Wiley and Amelia again and wanted leverage over both Drew and Nina. She also said two other people knew she shot Drew, and she had to make sure they stayed quiet.

Michael spent the week taking a different approach. He told Kristina he was being civil with Willow for strategic reasons and later said proof she shot Drew could still cost her everything, including her congressional seat and the children. Kristina warned him not to drag the kids through another custody fight, but Michael did not back away from his plan.

Willow and Wiley were at the Bad Jen Café, and Jacinda came in. Wiley greeted her warmly and talked about the spider project she helped him with. After Jacinda left, Willow remained upset and later went to Crimson to confront her. She accused Jacinda of using Wiley to get close to Michael and warned her to stay away from her children. Jacinda fired back, accused Willow of shooting Drew and trying to pin it on Michael, and told Willow she only had herself to blame for how her life had turned out. Then Michael walked in.

The crash fallout and Brook Lynn’s fear

Jordan and Curtis kept dealing with the aftermath of the crash. Jordan woke up, learned what happened, and then remembered that she caused the accident by leaning over to kiss Curtis. She blamed herself and later had to confront the extent of her injuries. A dermatologist told her she had facial and neck trauma, along with burns, and that scarring was possible. Curtis promised they would get her the best care available, but Jordan knew there were no guarantees. Later, she asked for a mirror, removed her bandages, saw the damage to her face, and broke down.

Curtis stayed focused on Jordan and on finding out more about what happened on the road. Justine and Dante continued discussing the accident, including the fact that the other vehicle involved never actually hit Jordan and Curtis’ car. Justine later said the case was being treated as a single-car accident, but Curtis argued Jordan’s injuries were made worse because the other driver did not stop. Stella kept supporting Curtis, and Lucas stayed involved as Jordan’s doctor. Isaiah also raised suspicion when he told Stella he had been at his cabin with Portia the night of the crash, even though the timing did not sit right.

After Phoebe arrived at the Quartermaines and Brook Lynn and Chase began settling into life with the baby, the new temporary mom kept flashing back to the night of the accident. She remembered swerving, hitting the guard rail with her own car, and not stopping because she had been drinking and feared what police involvement would do to their foster placement.

She later admitted to Tracy that she feared she had been the other driver. Tracy told her not to say anything, warned that the police and a jury would not be kind to a wealthy woman who drove after drinking, and said the adoption could be destroyed. She ordered Brook Lynn to move the damaged car to the boathouse, cover it, and never speak of it again. Tracy hinted she would have it repaired and no one would be the wiser.

Britt’s patience

Lucas remained centered on avenging Marco. He spent time with Jordan and Isaiah early in the week and later inserted himself into Britt’s dealings with Cullum. Britt met with Cullum at the hospital to ask for her medication, but Cullum changed the terms and said she would get her doses only when she produced results. He also pressed her about who shot him, making clear he knew Jason was not the whole story. Lucas interrupted that meeting, pushed Britt out, and then later met with her privately.

In Britt’s office, the two discussed how much Cullum likely knew. Britt said Cullum had Marco’s phone and probably knew Lucas’s role in events around Marco’s death. She argued they needed to survive and hope that the WSB could take Sidwell and Cullum down. Lucas refused to accept that and said he would stop Cullum himself. He then took the plan further by telling Britt he intended to keep staying at Wyndemere because it put him in the best position to move against Sidwell and Cullum. Britt called it a death wish.

At the same time, Sidwell started hearing Lucas’s name in a more troubling way. Cassius, now working the Marco investigation, told Sidwell that both Sonny and Jason had airtight alibis and that Marco’s killer had to be someone Marco knew and trusted. He then pointed out a gap in Lucas’s timeline. Sidwell refused to believe Lucas could have killed Marco, but the idea stayed with him. By the end of the episode, he was staring at a photo of Marco and Lucas and clearly thinking about what Cassius had said.

Laura, Ezra, and Sidwell’s flight plan

Laura’s week became tied to Ezra in a way neither of them expected. After Dante warned her Ezra was drunk and making a spectacle of himself at The Brown Dog, she went there, filmed his ranting, and got him out before things got even worse. She took him to her home to sober up privately. Ezra at first assumed she meant to humiliate him and ruin his career, but she explained the video was meant only to show him how badly he was behaving.

Once he settled, Ezra admitted that he knew Sidwell framed Laura for Dalton’s murder and said he feared he could be the next body left behind. He then admitted something more specific on Friday. He told Laura he was the reason Sidwell framed her because he had once suggested Sidwell needed leverage over her since her integrity made her hard to control. He apologized and blamed himself for what had happened to her.

Laura did not turn on him. Instead, she began bringing him into a plan of her own. She told him she believed Sidwell’s obsession with the helicopter flight plan meant more than wanting a faster route. She said she had approved it and wanted Ezra to use that opening to get closer to Sidwell and find out why the route mattered so much. Ezra agreed to help. Laura warned him that the pressure on him would get worse and told him that if he started feeling the walls closing in again, he needed to call her instead of reaching for a drink.

Carly, Valentin, Nina, and the Jack Brennan problem

Joss went to Carly’s place, demanding to speak with Valentin. She told him they needed to work together if they were going to take Cullum down and revealed that Cullum was a double agent working with Sidwell. Valentin responded by saying Cullum was the WSB’s real expert on Faison and suggested he may have been undermining the agency the entire time.

He also told Joss he believed whatever happened to Anna was Cullum’s doing. Valentin warned Joss that if Cullum figured out who she was, she would be dead. Carly tried to get her out of it, but Joss refused to back down.

Nina’s position shifted several times. Early in the week, she was still trying to deal with Jack and the footage tied to Willow. By Friday, she came home to find Valentin in her apartment with a drink in his hand. He confronted her about helping Jack through Charlotte and said Jack was using her.

Nina explained she had little choice because Jack could still hurt Willow. Valentin said he did not blame her; he blamed Jack. He then offered her information she could use to help set Jack up and argued that Jack would go after Willow and Charlotte whether Nina cooperated or not. He said she did not have to face Jack alone and left the choice with her.

Carly’s side of the story also turned more personal. Lucas helped her in the kitchen and discovered a new razor, which led him to press her about whether she was seeing someone besides Jack. Carly first lied and said it was for Jack, then admitted she was involved with someone else.

She said the relationship had no future and that circumstances had brought them together, but she also admitted the man understood her in a way she had not felt in a long time. Lucas warned her that a man like Jack could find out, but Carly asked him to drop it. Ultimately, Lucas told Carly he would support her choice, and she apologized for how long it took her to come around on Marco.

Alexis panicked when Ric told her Danny wanted to join the mob. Sonny had already refused Danny and told Ric he had to be the one to inform Alexis so she could keep a closer eye on him. Danny later found the ball gag in the basement, which Alexis tried to brush off.

Dante tried to reconnect with Danny and Rocco at the batting cages, and Rocco admitted he felt guilty about not knowing how to talk to Danny. Brook Lynn and Chase, meanwhile, welcomed Phoebe to the Quartermaines. Gio and Emma brought a gift, and the family gathered to toast the baby.

Sonny and Justine also moved their relationship forward. She warned him about Sidwell’s assumptions regarding Jordan’s crash, later ended up at Sonny’s place again, and eventually accepted a key from him.

A mystery man arrived in Port Charles, called someone, and said he would keep returning at noon until they met him. Lulu later found out that that man was Ethan. He told her he came back because they had barely communicated since she woke up, though she did not fully believe that explanation and asked who he was running from.

He said he had recently seen Robert, Holly, Sasha, and Daisy. Lulu showed him pictures of Rocco and Charlotte, told him she and Dante were in a good place as co-parents, and invited Ethan to stay with her. Ethan agreed, but said he had one more visit to make. That visit took him to Sonny’s place, where Kristina answered the door and greeted him warmly.
