Iain Armitage shares about reuniting with his Young Sheldon co-star on the TV show
On TV Insider, he shared how he felt about reuniting with his Young Sheldon costar on Ghosts. The channel asked:
“How did your guest role on Ghosts come about? Were you a fan of the show beforehand?”
He replied:
“Absolutely. I’ve been a massive fan of Ghosts for a really, really, really, really long time. Pretty much a day one US Ghosts fan. And I have a lot of people that I love so much that are in the cast from Daniel Pinnock, who was on our show first, actually, as Ms. Ingram, the math teacher, and one of my favorite people to work with. To, you know, I mean, even people on the crew, there were people that I didn’t even realize were on Ghosts that I knew from shows that I’d filmed previously, which was so fun to see them again.”
He continued:
“And it’s one of the only shows that I will always watch On the Night It Airs really consistently. So I’ve asked to be on it for a really long time in any capacity. And so when I got the email that that might be able to work out, we might be able to have me on the show, I was so excited and overjoyed and even more excited when I got to read the script because it was hilarious. And I’d never gotten to play a heightened version of myself like that before. So I was very excited.”
He also shared that Isaac always makes him laugh. It felt a little frustrating for him not to be able to join in with the sharp jokes being delivered right over his head. He said that Alberta also cracks him up as a character, and Heddy is just too funny.
