On April 15, Candace Owens attacked Erika Kirk after she skipped a TPUSA event that took place in Georgia and cited security threats as the reason. Erika was supposed to be a part of the event with Vice President JD Vance. The event was rather hosted by the TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet.
During the event, Andrew said that Erika was meant to be there, but due to some threats, she had to skip it.
Erika also commented about her not showing up for the Georgia event via X post:
“I was so looking forward to tonight’s event at the @universityofga with our Vice President @JDVance, but after all our family has been through, I take my security team’s recommendations extremely seriously. Thank you to our amazing Georgia chapter for your support. God bless you all!”
Following this, Owens targeted Kirk on her new podcast. She said Erika’s absence was lowkey disrespectful to the VP JD Vance. Candace said:
“Erica Kirk was slated to appear alongside her friend, Vice President JD Vance, at the University of Georgia, and she just completely no showed it. She stood him up. That is not casual. That is the sitting vice president of the United States. It is lowkey disrespectful outside of a real emergency. Emphasis on the word real. It was mystifying at first really, especially since the decision very clearly had to have been made.”
Candace Owens claimed Andrew Kolvet hinted at her as threat to Erika
Further in her podcast, Candace Owens claimed that Andrew Kolvet referred to her as a potential security threat to Erika Kirk, due to which she wasn’t able to attend the event. In her podcast, Owens said:
“Oh my is the implication here that it’s our fault. Is it my fault? Why do I feel like they’re talking about me? Is that weird? Uh uh. She’s not here. And come on, Vep. Come on. Explain to everybody how it’s actually Candace Owens’s fault because she’s being attacked more broadly speaking. What do I have to do with her going to an event?”
The former Daily Wire anchor has constantly attacked Charlie’s widow since his death in September last year. As per Owens, Erika is reportedly involved in a coverup in Charlie Kirk’s murder.
