Clavicular, who goes by his real name, Braden Peters, was reported to be hospitalized after a suspected overdose. Fans came to know about it after his livestream, where he was with two other influencers, got cut off suddenly.
Peters later started another livestream after being discharged from the hospital, where he spoke directly to viewers, saying:
“I ain’t going to be doing any more substances for a little while, hopefully forever. But that means I can’t IRL stream anymore, so that’s the thing. I really can’t IRL stream ’cause as you guys know I’m quite rude without that sh*t.”
He added:
“So I think I have to figure something else out. Fu*k. I have to figure out a new method. Either practice mogging sober or just find a new form of content. I don’t know. It’s fu*king done for.”
What happened during Clavicular’s livestream?
The incident took place on Tuesday night when Clavicular and two other influencers were livestreaming from a mall in Miami. In the livestream, they were seen hanging out in the mall and the restaurant and talking to other people. During the livestream, another influencer who was livestreaming with him, Androgenic, reportedly asked him:
“When did you last take blue?”
The livestream soon ended with many videos of him being carried in the ambulance going viral on the internet.
After being released from the hospital, Clavicular uploaded a tweet on X writing:
“Just got home, that was brutal. All of the substances are just a cope trying to feel neurotypical while being in public, but obviously that isn’t a real solution. The worst part of tonight was my face descending from the life support mask.”
Speaking of the same, Androgenic also tweeted on X:
“L backseat jesters. I hadn’t seen him in this state before and he went from speaking to being fairly unresponsive in mere seconds. Within a minute we all realised the situation, turned the stream off, picked him up and rushed him to the hospital.”
He continued:
“I haven’t received an update but that’s likely a good thing – and the acute respiratory depression window should already be over with. And you guys should realise that stimulants can attenuate respiratory depression in some cases, but I didn’t push for it once I realised he was unresponsive.”
It remains unclear what substance he might have taken, as Peters did not disclose details about it publicly. Last month, Clavicular got arrested on battery charges by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
