Boosie Badazz has said he is going to go independent with interviews. In an livestream clip, while cubing what looked like meat with a kitchen knife, Booise revealed that DJ Vlad would not pay the amount he wanted and thus he was not going to do Vlad TV interviews anymore:
“I ain’t do Vlad no more. We couldn’t come to an agreement. He won’t pay me. I wanted five thousand more than he wanted to pay me. He won’t pay me so. I think I will make more money doing it this way.”
In another Instagram post on April 11, 2026, Boosie showcased a camera setup with the caption that it was not a Vlad TV interview:
“YALL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IZ. LETS GO. this is not a Vlad TV INTERVIEW”
DJ Vlad has not responded to this new reveal by Boosie Badazz as of the writing of this article. Boosie Badazz has frequently collaborated with DJ Vlad until recently. Earlier this year, the rapper revealed in an livestream why he had not appeared on Vlad TV recently, stating it was not because Vlad hosted 6ix9ine on his show, but because he had not been paid for his time on DJ Vlad’s Vlad TV show:
“That’s his job. That’s Vlad’s job. That ain’t got nothing to with me bro. That ain’t why you ain’t see me on the Vlad TV. That’s not it. I just haven’t been paid when it’s time for me to get paid.. It’s not just Vlad. Anybody who want me on their podcast, I’m ready… I’ve been ready since November. But its not free. I got to feed my family.”
Boosie Badazz previously claimed that he made close to $500k from Vlad TV
Back In 2023, Boosie Badazz claimed that he made close to $500k from his appearances on Vlad TV. He made the claim while appearing on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club. The rapper made the claim after Charlamange Tha God said that Boosie should make a podcast with collaborater Webbie.
Boosie replied to that comment by saying that he would do it if the podcast could bring in millions in revenue. Charlamange Tha God then went on to say that wouldn’t be possible on a podcast, which led to Boosie saying that he didn’t want it and then stating:
“Because, yeah, I could make a half a million with Vlad every year, man. I don’t really need it if it ain’t gon’… Vlad help me out a lot more.”
After being pressed about it by Charlamange, he reiterated that he could rake in close to $500k with his appearances on Vlad TV. After this claim, DJ Vlad started a GoFundMe fundraiser, stating that the claim led to other guests wanting similar revenues, leaving him with no choice but to open up a fund raiser to keep the Vlad TV channel going.
Boosie Badazz made the claim about making nearly half a million dollars after he revealed before that in May 2023 that he was well paid by Vlad TV in his defence of Vlad TV from the accusations that DJ Vlad is a cop, made by other rappers, as per Complex. In 2024, Vlad also claimed that Boosie Badazz’s dog bit him before their interview on February 29, 2024.
