On the Thursday, April 16, 2026, episode of Days of our Lives, spoilers tease a wake up call for Sophia when she realizes that she practically made a deal with the devil.
What to expect on Days of our Lives
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is going scorched earth and absolutely nobody in Salem is safe. She was sure that everything would go her way with Rachel (Lorelei Mote)and Bayview, but instead, everything backfired and Rachel is back in that awful place. Rather than blaming herself for her poor parenting and for pulling Rachel out of Bayview early, Kristen is blaming everyone else for her daughter’s problems.
She blames EJ (Daniel Feurriegel) for making her confess in the first place, so he needs to be brought down. Kristen also blames Marlena (Deidre Hall) for her testimony, so the good doctor will also have to be dealt with. And she has enlisted the help of Sophia (Rachel Boyd), the only person who realy hurt Rachel on purpose to achieve her own goals.
Sophia has her own plan in mind to hurt Johnny and therefore, EJ. But Kristen wants to throw that plan in the trash. Sophia is stunned when Kristen reveals what she really wants to do and learns she has no choice but to go along with it. Kristen means business and Sophia realizes that teaming up with Kristen might have been the biggest mistake of her young teenage life.
While Kristen deals with Sophia, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) grow closer when they take their afternoon rendezvous to Horton Town Square. As they share a snack, Xander (Paul Telfer) spots them and is not happy at all.
The moment of truth for Leo
There is more drama in the square when Javi (Al Calderon) and Leo (Greg Rikaart) come face to face for the first time since January. Javi had been avoiding Leo all day and even tried to make a mad dash when he heard Leo mention his name in a voicemail to Marlena.
But Javi didn’t run fast enough and now he has to stop being an avoidant and talk to the man he took vows with. Javi finally presses Leo for answers about what happened with Dimitri (Peter Porte), so Leo is ready to be honest. Yes, he was in Alamania with Dimitri, but that does not mean they are together.
Leo tells Javi that he only wants him and Dimitri is not a factor anymore. Leo has been trying to get Javi to believe this for months, so will Javi finally see the light and realize that Leo chose him back in January.
