Actor-producer David Arquette celebrated his 11th anniversary with wife Christina McLarty on April 13. He shared a black-and-white picture from their wedding day and captioned it:

“Happy 11th wedding anniversary, 1 day late (I was traveling) @christinaarquette to the dragon mother of basset hounds, a silly bull dog, crazy cats, goats, pigs, horses, donkey, cows, chickens, ducks, turkey, chinchillas, fish, stepmother to Coco, and mother of Charlie and Gus…”

Arquette, 54, continued:

“I just can’t thank you enough for this magical world we have created together. I thank the stars every day for you. From kissing under a rainbow at Lollapalooza in Chicago to looking down on fireworks in Aspen, it’s been a fairytale adventure. Thanks for being my dream come true. I love you.”

Christina McLarty, 44, is an Emmy-winning journalist turned producer. She reshared her husband’s post on her Instagram Stories with a “Happy Anniversary” sticker and Lou Reed’s song Perfect Day.

David’s sister, Rosanna Arquette, commented underneath his post:

“Love you happy happy anniversary.”

The couple began dating in 2011, got engaged in July 2014, before tying the knot nine months later. Their sons, Charlie and Gus, were born in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

Exploring David Arquette’s personal life with Christina McLarty

Christina McLarty studied journalism at New York University and graduated in 2003. She began her career as an Entertainment Tonight correspondent before joining The Insider as a reporter.

McLarty has been a producer for One Last Run studio since 2018 and divides her time between Los Angeles and Nashville. She executive-produced Magic Johnson’s Apple TV+ documentary, They Call Me Magic, in 2020.

David Arquette’s wife also produced his docuseries, You Cannot Kill David Arquette, for Hulu. It revolved around David’s comeback to professional wrestling. The show won Christina McLarty the SXSW’s Adobe Editing Award.

In recent years, she has also been an executive producer for Van Jones’ The First Step, based on criminal justice reform, and God Said Give ‘Em Drum Machines. Her current project, Bozo the Clown, is in production.

Christina McLarty’s LinkedIn bio also calls her a senior advisor to XTR, which co-financed six documentaries, including the ones that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2021. As part of the firm, she also helped Bryn Mooser launch a premium nonfiction studio.

Six months ago, Christina McLarty sat down with Jason Ball for his Life After News podcast and shared her journey stepping away from mainstream/ corporate journalism to creative entrepreneurship and finding power in telling stories that matter.

She especially reflected on the making of Survivor’s Guide to Prison for Netflix, in collaboration with Oscar-nominated director Matthew Cook, whom she described as “amazing” and a friend of her husband.

Christina McLarty shared that she helped Cook “finish” the 2018 crime documentary, which he’d been making for years, but was having a hard time because of the “complicated” topic. She continued:

“That was my first real documentary that I helped produce. And it really re-energized me into the space and sort of fed all of my news instincts that I loved so much, but also allowed me to create my own schedule and sort of, I look at it like being an entrepreneur every day.”

Today, Christina McLarty is not just a producer but a board member of The Arkansas Cinema Society and the nonprofit Healthy Humor that offers medical clown services across the United States.

David Arquette continues to be a co-parent to his firstborn and only daughter, Coco, 21, with ex-wife Courteney Cox.

The FRIENDS star met Arquette on the sets of their 1996 slasher film, Scream, and got married three years later. In October 2010, it was announced that the pair was going through a trial separation. However, David filed for divorce in June 2012, which was finalized 11 months later.
