LiAngelo Ball has never been one to stay in a single lane. The former professional basketball player walked away from the court and into the booth, and the transition turned out to be more than just a pivot. It was a whole new chapter. What led you to music after basketball?
Tweaker really put me on. When I put out Tweaker, that’s what made me take music seriously. Once I dropped that, I was like, okay, I got some real substance in this music world, so let me keep dropping. That’s what did it.
The switch to music got you your first two-way contract with Twix Bits. Why is this a good fit for you right now?
When Twix hit me up, I thought it was a perfect fit, because I got dual talents too, as far as hooping and rapping. When they hit me up with their dual talents with the Twix Bits, because they said they crunchy and creamy and all that, I thought it would be the perfect fit. I was happy and excited to get that going. Also, I grew up eating Twix. As a young kid, it put a smile on my face.

They can expect to hear some great music on the way. I just dropped a song called AYE. It’s a real nice family vibe. I feel like you can play the song anywhere. I just did a music video to it that’s coming out. We got a lot of stuff in motion right now. I’m excited to put out some more projects for y’all.
