Did Willow just set Nina up for a MASSIVE fall?

General Hospital’s Willow may have just done exactly what this week’s teasers described her as doing — stooping to an all-time new low. Yes, Willow might have just set her mother up to take the fall for something she did. And what she did was egregious and could land Nina in jail for a long, long time.

Willow’s pure and perfect act

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) knows that Nina (Cynthia Watros) will do just about anything for her, big or small. She was willing to use a WSB station chief to make key evidence disappear, so surely she would help her take care of Drew (Cameron Mathison) for just a few minutes, right? Ever the busy congresswoman, Willow claimed she had to answer a few calls, so she left Nina to give Drew his pain meds.

Nina didn’t feel comfortable doing it, but she did what her daughter asked, not realizing those were the drugs that kept Drew “locked in.” Drew tried to tell her by blinking, but Nina only thought he had a weird tic he was unaware of. Little did she know she had fallen for quite a dirty trick.

When Willow returned to the room, she made sure that Nina placed the syringe in a ziploc bag, and we knew what she had really done. Willow wanted her mother’s prints on that syringe so she could set her up for giving Drew a fake stroke.

So, we really, really want to have a long talk with Nina so we can tell her that she has other daughter options. There’s Sasha, who is living in Europe, but was always a much better daughter to Nina than Willow can ever be. And then there’s Charlotte (Bluesy Burke), the girl Nina tried to betray for her crazy real daughter.

This also puts Willow in full villain territory. We can understand why she shot Drew, because half the town wanted to shoot him by the time Willow got the job done. We can also understand why she wanted to shut him up, rule his life, and give him a taste of his own medicine. Inducing what seemed like a stroke might have taken things a bit too far, but at least we could understand her motivation.

But setting up her own mother for an egregious crime now makes Willow worse than her dearly departed twin sister, Nelle (Chloe Lanier). We don’t even think Nelle would stoop this low. Nina has given everything she has to Willow since first learning she was her daughter three years ago and this is how Willow pays the favor.

Now, we are not sure exactly what Willow’s game is, as she also finally confessed to shooting Drew, but we know she is willing to do anything to save herself, even if she takes her own mother down instead. Now, THAT is diabolical.
