Lorenzo Lamas has seen a resurgence in public interest thanks to his new romance with Heather Locklear. The 90s icons from Falcon Crest and Melrose Place went public with their relationship in April 2026 after secretly dating for months.
It came into the limelight when TMZ broke the story on April 10, publishing exclusive photos of the couple together on New Year’s Eve 2025. The snaps were from Barry’s Steakhouse in Las Vegas’ Circa Resort & Casino, showing them affectionate at a table and posing with Chef Barry Dakake in the kitchen.
Reportedly, their children – who are now grown up – are planning to meet up and bond. Locklear has one daughter, Ava Sambora (28), from ex-husband Richie Sambora. Lorenzo Lamas has six kids.
The mother of his eldest kids – Alvaro Joshua “A.J.” and Shayne Lamas is the late publicist Michele Smith, Lamas’ second wife. Alvaro is the eldest of all Lamas’ children, as he was born in December 1983, with Shayne being born in November 1985.
A.J. is an actor and a model. He is known for roles like Rafael Ortega on As the World Turns, Simon McCrae on Gigantic, and Cisco Gonzalez on American Family. She was briefly linked to actor Leonardo DiCaprio in late 2022 amid dating rumors. According to the reports, the 23-year-old model and actress was photographed leaving The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood with the 48-year-old actor on December 20, 2022, and entering the same car together.
However, the reports later shut down the rumor, with sources denying romance, clarifying they were part of a group dinner and not dating.
