Billboard releases dream setlist ahead of duo’s joint tour

Usher and Chris Brown recently announced a surprise tour on April 10, 2026. The tour is titled the R&B (Raymond & Brown) tour, and it was jointly announced via the official Instagram pages of the duo.

Not much is known about the tour as of the writing of this article. Details about the dates, venues and cities of the tour, as well as tickets, will be released at a later date. The official setlist for the tour has also not been revealed.

The announcement itself has a promotional video where two bikes race through the streets of the city, with people getting alerts on their phones regarding the same.

The two bikes meet up in a parking lot and the people race up to the venue. A smartphone in a phone holder shows the word ‘R&B’ on its screen, and the two bikers take off their helmets and reveal themselves to be Usher and Chris Brown, before one of them presses a button labeled ‘Stadium’. The elevator opens up, and a voice-over says:

“Its time”.

In anticipation of the tour, the publication Billboard released its dream setlist for the tour. As per the publication, the dream setlist for the tour would include songs from both singers’ careers, with an even split in the number of songs.

In Billboard’s dream set list, there are twenty-six songs by Chris Brown, including the likes of Run It, Ain’t No Way (You Won’t Love Me) and Wall to Wall. There are also tracks such as Take You Down, Residuals Sensational, and No Guidance. Overall, the dream setlist by the publication focuses on a mix of hit tracks and early numbers for the Chris Brown dream setlist.

The dream set list published by Billboard then has Usher performing his tracks in the second half of the concert. Starting with the track U Don’t Have To Call, the set list suggested for Usher has hits such as Bad Girl, Caught Up, She Came To Give It To You, and You Make Me Wanna.

The dream setlist also has some tracks performed together by Chris Brown and Usher, such as Party. The dream setlist ends with the track Yeah! and a suggested dance battle between the two. Overall, the dream setlist published by Billboard contains a total of 53 tracks.

More on the Billboard Dream Setlist for the upcoming Chris Brown and Usher tour

The Billboard Dream Setlist for the upcoming tour by Chris Brown and Usher, alongside suggestions of songs, also includes suggestions on how the act of performing the songs itself might go. There are suggestions for using instruments, artificial rain, the mix and match of up and down tempo tracks, as well as how singers can convey emotions and ideas with the tracks.

In one case, the setlist suggests that Chris Brown might convey the journey of a man trying to recover from a breakup by immersing himself in the new person he is seeing, with the help of the track No BS.

Chris Brown and Usher are joining forces and taking their show on the road. The two artists announced a joint tour on Friday, dubbed the R&B Tour, a reference to their last names, Raymond — Usher’s full name is Usher Raymond IV — and Brown.

In another section of the setlist, the publication suggests Usher might acknowledge both the good side of romance and the bad side of romance with the track Bad Girl.

Brown and Usher’s upcoming tour will not be the first time they perform together. The duo performed at Real 92.3’s The Real Show at The Forum in California back in 2016.
