What’s next on The Young and the Restless

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) shared her frustration with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), who acts as a surrogate mother/sounding board, that she was unable to save Neil (the late, great Kristoff St. John), and now, she feels bad that she can’t save Malcolm, who has a blood disorder.
On Friday’s show, watch for Lily to take matters into her own hands to help Malcolm. Does this mean she’ll explore second opinions from a doctor who might give her the news she’s longing to hear — that she could be a donor for her dad? That’s not likely to happen, despite soaps pushing boundaries with medical stories. Perhaps Lily will urge Holden to be there for their dad in a way that she can’t?
Adam rolls the dice

Adam (Mark Grossman) has taken a big gamble (pun intended) by going to Las Vegas with Nick (Joshua Morrow) to help him track down Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Adam has resumed his Spider persona and has gotten mixed up again with Riza (Tina Casciani). He’s shown her that he still has what it takes to win at the gambling table, but Adam’s playing with fire, given Riza’s connection to Matt.
On Friday’s show, watch for Adam to play with fire. Is that figuratively or literally? Either way could prove dangerous for him. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is likely concerned about her love, hoping that he makes it back to Genoa City safely. Will he? Tune in to find out!
The Nick of time

On Friday’s show, watch for Matt to back Nick into a corner. Nick has been driven to take down the man who has caused his family so many problems. But perhaps Nick has bitten off more than he can chew? For starters, Nick is dealing with a drug issue, which has left him far from the top of his game both mentally and physically. Also, Nick has made the foolish choice of not going to Vegas with any Newman security. Sure, he has Adam with him, but will that be enough?
Nick needs to have three to seven burly Newman security guards — like the ones who helped him rescue Sienna (Tamara Braun) from Matt and rogue lawwoman Det. Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge). Nick chastised, rightfully so, his son Noah (Lucas Adams) for leaving the Newman grounds, which enabled Annie to club him from behind.
Is Nick going to fare any better given his situation? Matt appears to have the ability to elude the police, escape consequences when he is arrested, and appears to have enough money to get around and stay hidden — even though the AI program wiped him out! Be careful, Nick!
