Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
There’s nothing like a bunch of vapid, selfish people standing around a living room with no self-awareness whatsoever, cowering in fear over a heartbroken, jilted woman. But on the April 9th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, nobody in that living room had less self-awareness than good ol’ Ridge Forrester. While they all took turns lamenting about the whole Sheila-Deacon situation, while worried Sheila was going to come after them with sharp objects, Ridge put his foot in his mouth as only Ridge can. He completely understood why Taylor was so vulnerable that she fell for Deacon’s apparently considerable charms. After all, she had been through so much over the last year. As soon as he said that, Taylor was able to remove herself from the dog house for the first time all week. She turned right to Ridge and shot him a look that said, “Dude, are you serious right now?” Ridge seemed to know exactly what that look meant and realized that he was the one who put Taylor through it, as he always does. He then pointed out that he knew Taylor had to have been devastated when he dumped her for Brooke. Taylor just glared at him some more as we all wanted to tell Ridge that the world didn’t revolve around him. But Ridge would never believe that, so why bother?
