The Boys star Jack Quaid calls the upcoming Season 3 of My Adventures with Superman as his favorite so far

Jack Quaid is here with some awesome news for fans of My Adventures with Superman, while handling his character’s last moments on The Boys Season 5. While promoting the show’s latest and final season, the actor confirmed that we are finally getting the third season of the animated DC series and from what he is saying, we are in for a good watch.

Speaking to Collider, he opened up on the third season’s release as he praised the premise and called it a “funny, lighthearted show” with wonderful writing as he stated,

“First of all, I can tease that it is coming out. I know fans have been really patiently waiting, but it is coming out. I’ve been recording ADR recently. It’s happening. I’ve seen it. What I can tease about it is I think it’s maybe my favorite season of the show. We do some episodes that are kind of standalone, their own thing, and that are really, really exciting. I don’t want to spoil it too much, but it’s also maybe the funniest season we have. It’s always been a funny, lighthearted show, but some of the writing is truly, truly wonderful.”

It must be pretty cool to be in the limelight for two major superhero shows, and Quaid absolutely agrees. Further adding on to what it’s like to be in both the shows as she subtly compared the two he added,

“I’m very appreciative to be in two superhero shows that are very much two sides of the superhero coin. Obviously, The Boys is the gritty, dark underbelly of it all, and then Superman, he’s all about saving cats and trees and being a dork, and I love him. So, yes, I don’t know the exact date, but I think fans have something to look forward to soon.”

My Adventures with Superman season 3 is locked in and heading our way, though Warner Bros. hasn’t dropped an official release date yet. Given that seasons 1 and 2 were ordered together back in 2021, the gap between season 2 and 3 might be longer than fans expected.

The main cast is returning: Jack Quaid as Clark Kent/Superman, Alice Lee as Lois Lane, and Ishmel Sahid as Jimmy Olsen. Supporting players like Max Mittelman’s Lex Luthor and Kiana Madeira’s Supergirl are set to return as well.
