Louisa makes her understand that they were tricked. The people of the town shout in anger about the difficulties the farm will bring forth. Right after giving birth, instead of going to the hospital, Sigrid is more concerned about the salmon farm.

While Martin leaves, Elaine begins to look at the rejection letter that she received, and the townspeople are completely unaware of it. The townspeople think that Elaine has been accepted and keeps on appreciating her for her talent. This episode of Best Medicine continues with Martin searching for Sigrid to try to help her.

He finds Ludvig, who tells him that she is down by the docks trying to win the hearts of the fishermen. He tells Ludvig that Sigrid must meet him right away. Greg and George are excited for the celebration. After Martin arrives at the clinic, he finds Glendon waiting for him. Glendon begins to talk about Martin’s phobia of blood and that Elaine has been taking the blood instead of Martin. He then gives Martin a deal.

If Martin is able to make the townspeople embrace the salmon farm, Glendon will not end his medical career by unveiling the truth. On the other hand, Dr. Montgomery arrives at the Salty Breeze and comes across Louisa. When Louisa asks about the reason for her stay, Montgomery tells her that she wants to rekindle her relationship with Martin. Montgomery also informs Louisa that her hormone levels are optimum for a pregnancy. This episode of Best Medicine continues with Martin worried about his situation. Martin then tells Ludvig that he has connections with a powerful US senator on whom he performed a successful triple bypass. Hence, unless Ludvig tears up the contract, which he tricked the townspeople with, Martin will make sure that they are not able to do business in America.
