The latest episode of the police procedural saw Will taking Nico to the hospital after a minor mishap during a mandoline-slicing session. He was surprised to see Angie and Seth at the hospital (who were there for a routine maternity check-up). As the trio was catching up, they realised that the hospital was taken hostage by a desperate mother, Nickea, who demanded immediate medical attention for her son, Kevin.
Will Trent Season 4 Episode 14 revealed that while Nickea had begged the doctors to treat Kevin, who needed urgent surgery, they were asking her to wait in line, which forced her to grab a gun from an officer and take a doctor at gunpoint. Ormewood, Will and Seth brought their A-game in Will Trent Season 4 Episode 14
The APD was looking into a street shooting, which resulted in a kid getting shot by a dr*g dealer named O’Cyrus, eager to prove himself in the neighbourhood. He lured the young man with a video game and shot him. Franklin and Ormewood were surprised to discover their shooting victim in Will Trent Season 4 Episode 14 was none other than Kevin and O’Cyrus was likely in the hospital to finish what he started. This brought Ormewood and Faith outside the hospital, which was currently being held hostage by an angry and desperate mother. While Will was trying to keep Nickea’s attention on him and keep everyone safe, the stakes were increasing by the minute.
Outside, Ormewood and Faith were concerned for their friends and wanted to alert them about O’Cyrus’ presence in the hospital. That is when Ormewood came up with the brilliant idea of ordering a pizza for Angie and getting the message to her. Once Angie and the team got the message, Will and Seth realized that the orderly keeping them company is likely O’Cyrus, who plans to kill Kevin in the guise of treating him.
Things took a turn in Will Trent Season 4 Episode 14 when Kevin blew an artery and needed immediate vascular surgery. Meanwhile, the war reenactors launched a cannon that required a SWAT presence and O’Cyrus finally revealed his true face. While the shooter was about to escape into Kevin’s room via the elevator, Will and Seth managed to grab him before the doors locked, resulting in an action-packed elevator fight. As Will used Seth’s stethoscope to fight the shooter, Seth’s fighting moves were also on full display. Ormewood joined in on the action on the eighth floor and even with a three-against-one, O’Cyrus gave a befitting fight, even stabbing Seth in the arm & Ormewood in the leg, before Will incapacitated him.
In the final moments of Will Trent Season 4 Episode 14, as O’Cyrus was arrested, Kevin received surgery and was given the all-clear.
Will received news about his Uncle in Will Trent Season 4 Episode 14
After an intense episode, Ormewood, Faith, Angie and Seth were reminded of the importance of family as they embraced. As Will thought about his own remaining family, his Uncle Antonio, he received a shocking call from Adelaide, who currently has his Uncle under her captivity. As Adelaide tried to be all charming with Will, the Special Agent inquired about his Uncle.
When Will asked what she wanted, Adelaide answered:
“All sorts of things. Do you ever think about the jungle? I’ve gotta say, that was a lot of fun.”
With this, Adelaide revealed that she is coming for Will, likely setting up a harrowing confrontation in the upcoming episode of Will Trent Season 4. Adelaide also warned Will not to share the details about their phone conversation with his friends. Otherwise, the results could be deadly for his uncle.
