Congresswoman Willow is weird and wacky

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Who didn’t giggle or even laugh out loud a little when Brook Lynn marveled that they called a congresswoman to go to bat for them with a social worker? A congresswoman? She was talking about Willow, who we guess is technically a congresswoman now, but um…she’s…Willow. Ya know, the lady who used to live there who had sex with the now blacksheep Q son on the playroom floor while married to the golden boy, the Q grandson? Yep, she’s that girl now. The congresswoman. And who didn’t giggle even more watching Brook Lynn and Chase sit down with their representative in Washington to go over Willow’s conversation with the social worker. The whole thing felt surreal watching Chase bow down to his third-grade teacher ex-wife, who has also been a nurse and a spokesperson for cancer treatment (despite not treating her cancer till the last minute). Now, she’s put on a new costume and persona and is an intrepid politician, fighting for truth and justice in DC while praying her intern doesn’t tell anyone she popped her husband (the guy she had sex with on the playroom floor) in the back twice last fall. Wasn’t Willow so wonderfully professional and compassionate with that lovely little smile on her ever-so-unhinged face? Considering America’s penchant for unhinged, weird, and wacky criminal leaders of late, our Willow should fit right in.
