Kristen creates her real Mini-Me

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Kristen has been trying to mold Rachel in her image for years, but she is starting to learn that it hasn’t worked out well for her. Kristen fought back when Marlena tried to drive that point home two weeks ago, but perhaps it sunk in. Now, Kristen has decided to mold someone else in her image by recruiting Sophia Choi to do her dirty work. Perhaps Kristen can recognize that Sophia is ripe for the picking because her teenage manipulator skills are already impressive. Sophia might not be as seasoned as Kristen, but she damn well has the raw talent to be another DiMera in the making. Nobody is sure what Kristen has in mind when she tells Sophia that she will be at her beck and call in her quest to hurt EJ (not even Kristen), but she knows she has found the perfect partner in crime. Think of how much fun it will be to watch Kristen and Sophia tag-team their revenge plans. We can see Sophia looking at Kristen in awe of her scheming creativity. Learning from the master can make Sophia quite lethal. All she has to do is put on that innocent act, pretending she wants to get her life back, and nobody will be the wiser. That seems to be exactly what Kristen is counting on, but she could find that she’s created a monster worse than herself.
